The week life… was life’ing. 🙃

Hey Reader,

This past week?
Let’s just say…it was a little thrown off.

We had a sick kiddo who needed lots of snuggles, middle-of-the-night check ups, and her own little “quarantine corner” to keep the rest of my motley crew healthy.

Once she was all better (and I wrapped up some client work), we celebrated with an outing—me + all the kiddos—to see Paddington in Peru. It was so cute, by the way, and and yes, a marmalade sammy is now on our snack list.

Later that night, hubby whisked me away for our date night—because sometimes the best way to wrap up a week like that is with uninterrupted adult conversation and food I didn’t have to make. 🙌

Organized Chaos = Multiple Schedules in One Hub

Weeks like this are exactly why I love using ClickUp to wrangle our schedule.

Whether it’s:

  • Shuffling client deadlines
  • Remembering movie showtimes and dinner reservations
  • Or keeping homeschool prep on track

…I can see it all in one place, no flipping through a million sticky notes or random pads.

💡 My favorite ClickUp tip for all our busy?
Create one “Master Calendar” view that pulls in every workspace and list—so you can see everything in one snapshot.

That way, even if a sick day throws you off, you can quickly see what’s time-sensitive, what can shift, and what can be dropped without guilt.

This isn’t about perfectly sticking to the plan.
It’s about having a system that flexes when life… well, life’s.

So here’s to sick-day snuggles, spontaneous movie trips, and still keeping it all mostly together—even if it’s not in the way you originally planned.

More soon—
Ria

P.S. If tweaking your systems is your kryptonite, I still have a few ClickUp RX sessions available for August. You can grab a spot here.

Hey friend, Does September feel like a fresh notebook to you, too?Crisp, full of possibility… and maybe a little like a breath of fresh air when you’re not staring at a mountain of half-finished lists? Reader, if you’re feeling that mix of “let’s do this!” energy and “where do I even begin?” overwhelm, you’re so not alone. Between school and extra curricular drop-offs, client calls, and the never-ending snack requests (do your kids also seem like they have a bottomless snack stomach?), our...

Last Tuesday. 3:17am. You jolt awake in a cold sweat. Not because of a kid’s nightmare or one of those weird dreams where you show up to a meeting in your pajamas (though, let’s be honest, Zoom calls have made that less of a nightmare and more of a Tuesday). Nope. You shot up in bed because you suddenly remembered—you forgot to send that client questionnaire. Again. You know the one—the questionnaire that kicks off every new project, the one that should be automatic by now but somehow still...

Happy Friday! I hope you're having a great week so far, Reader! We’ve started the transition to our school-year schedule (goodbye carefree summer days 😭), and between the usual appointments, homeschool enrichment orientation, and a baby that insists on being held (how is she already three months old?! 🥹), I’ve been leaning on a few things that are making life feel easier.. Since I know you’re always on the lookout for simple wins and little pockets of ease and delight, I just have to tell you...
