How I spring cleaned my workspace

Hey Reader!

Spring is doing its thing—birds are singing, flip flops are back in rotation, and my kids are already begging for popsicles on repeat.

And while I haven’t quite tackled the closet clutter (still pretending not to see it), I did give my ClickUp a little refresh—and wow, it’s making life feel so much easier.

Turns out, a few small tweaks can bring a whole lot of ease.

Here are 3 simple-but-mighty updates I made to my own workspace (and ones you can try, too!):

  1. Reorganized & Renamed a Cluttered Folder
Think of it as digital pruning—clearing out what’s no longer useful so what matters can thrive.
Now it’s clearly my space to plan, prioritize, and make big-picture decisions like goals, finances, and my weekly reset checklist… all in one easy-to-navigate spot.
  2. Created a Growth Hub
Instead of letting coaching or mastermind tasks get lost in the shuffle, I gave them a dedicated home, err rather list.
Now when I get a great insight or assignment, I know exactly where to put it and how to act on it.
If you’re investing in your growth, this one’s a game-changer.
  3. Simplified A Task Flow
    My new status flow?
To Do → In Progress → Waiting → Complete.
No more confusion. Just simple, streamlined steps that make daily work feel easier.

If your ClickUp is starting to feel like an overstuffed closet or a half-used planner, take this as your sign
a few small tweaks can make a big impact.

Need a place to start? Try one of these this week:

✨ Refresh your task views or reorganize a cluttered list.
✨ Rename a folder to match how your brain actually works.
✨ Create a list for something you’ve been mentally juggling.
✨ Been meaning to fix that one dashboard? Today’s the day.

Grab my free Systems Refresh Checklist—it’s packed with quick, effective tweaks to simplify your workspace and lighten your mental load.

Try a 3-Minute Task Tidy-Up

Set a timer and:

  • Move tasks where they belong
  • Check off what’s done
  • Archive or delete what’s no longer needed

This tiny habit = major mental clarity.

Choose just one small step this week and feel your systems bloom.
Here’s to workflows that feel like you—not a second job.

Warmly,
Ria

Hey friend, Does September feel like a fresh notebook to you, too?Crisp, full of possibility… and maybe a little like a breath of fresh air when you’re not staring at a mountain of half-finished lists? Reader, if you’re feeling that mix of “let’s do this!” energy and “where do I even begin?” overwhelm, you’re so not alone. Between school and extra curricular drop-offs, client calls, and the never-ending snack requests (do your kids also seem like they have a bottomless snack stomach?), our...

Last Tuesday. 3:17am. You jolt awake in a cold sweat. Not because of a kid’s nightmare or one of those weird dreams where you show up to a meeting in your pajamas (though, let’s be honest, Zoom calls have made that less of a nightmare and more of a Tuesday). Nope. You shot up in bed because you suddenly remembered—you forgot to send that client questionnaire. Again. You know the one—the questionnaire that kicks off every new project, the one that should be automatic by now but somehow still...

Happy Friday! Since I know you’re always on the lookout for simple wins and little pockets of ease and delight, I just have to tell you...
