☀️ Get your ClickUp ready for summer

Hey Reader!

Summer’s just around the corner (how?!), and with it comes a new rhythm—whether your kids are home full-time or your schedule just gets a little more, well... fluid. If your calendar is already filling with camps, cookouts, and travel plans—you’re not alone. 😅

As a homeschooling mom, I’m no stranger to having my crew home year-round, so I get what it’s like to juggle client work, dinner prep, and science experiments—all before 2 p.m. And even though our rhythm doesn’t shift as dramatically when school lets out, even I feel that summer energy calling for more margin, more freedom, more time outside when the days get longer, the pace softens, and the to-do list needs to flex a little.

That’s why now is the perfect time get your ClickUp summer ready—so you can work less, feel less frazzled, keep the business humming, and still stay on top of what matters most.

Here’s how I’m setting things up to streamline my summer and make space for a slower pace:

  • Lean on Recurring Tasks
Set it and forget it. Automate the weekly to-dos and reminders that normally take up brain space. Think: content creation check-ins, invoices, weekly reviews—whatever repeats.
  • Simplify with Focus Anchors
Instead of juggling 37 scattered to-dos, I use my Focus Anchors (a.k.a. the top 3 tasks that actually move the needle). These live front and center in my ClickUp LineUp so I always know what to start with.
  • Loop in the Family
ClickUp isn’t just for business! Create a shared list for summer plans, chore rotations, or packing lists. Get everyone involved—and out of your brain.
  • Declutter Your Workspace
Archive old tasks, clean up unused lists, and refresh each of your spaces for a lighter feel. Your future self will thank you.

The goal? Less effort. More intention. And room to actually enjoy the summer.

You can create systems that let you slow down without falling behind. ClickUp isn’t just for business tasks—it can support the whole you. Life, work, home, routines—it all lives here (without adding to the chaos).

What I’m working on:
This summer’s shaping up to be extra special for our family—and I’ve been keeping a little secret…
We’re getting ready to welcome a new addition to the Sanchez crew! (Yes, the timing is wild. Yes, I’m I'm full on nesting. 😉)

Hit reply and let me know what your summer rhythm is shaping up to be—I'd love to hear from you!

Warmly,
Ria

Hey friend, Does September feel like a fresh notebook to you, too?Crisp, full of possibility… and maybe a little like a breath of fresh air when you’re not staring at a mountain of half-finished lists? Reader, if you’re feeling that mix of “let’s do this!” energy and “where do I even begin?” overwhelm, you’re so not alone. Between school and extra curricular drop-offs, client calls, and the never-ending snack requests (do your kids also seem like they have a bottomless snack stomach?), our...

Last Tuesday. 3:17am. You jolt awake in a cold sweat. Not because of a kid’s nightmare or one of those weird dreams where you show up to a meeting in your pajamas (though, let’s be honest, Zoom calls have made that less of a nightmare and more of a Tuesday). Nope. You shot up in bed because you suddenly remembered—you forgot to send that client questionnaire. Again. You know the one—the questionnaire that kicks off every new project, the one that should be automatic by now but somehow still...

Happy Friday! I hope you're having a great week so far, Reader! We’ve started the transition to our school-year schedule (goodbye carefree summer days 😭), and between the usual appointments, homeschool enrichment orientation, and a baby that insists on being held (how is she already three months old?! 🥹), I’ve been leaning on a few things that are making life feel easier.. Since I know you’re always on the lookout for simple wins and little pockets of ease and delight, I just have to tell you...
