. . . because Maycember is wild.

Hey Reader!

We’re officially deep in it—Maycember is doing what it does best: turning every calendar into a jigsaw puzzle and every mom into a project manager on espresso. 🙃

Final projects, field trips, client launches, summer prep, snack duty, sports banquets—it’s all happening at the same time.

If your brain feels like a browser with 47 tabs open (and at least 1 of them playing audio)—I see you over there.

So instead of trying to do all the things, here’s how I’m keeping my sanity:
I’m focusing on what matters most.

My Maycember Motto?

Simply enjoy.

Not all of it. Not perfectly.
But enough of it to feel present and proud.

And one of the tools making that possible?

ClickUp’s Priority Feature
It’s one of the simplest ways to bring order to the overwhelm—because not every task needs to be treated like an emergency.

Here’s how I use it (and how you can too!):

  • Use the 4 Priority Levels:
ClickUp lets you mark tasks as Urgent, High, Normal, or Low. That tiny label helps me separate the must-do from the can-wait, which keeps my stress in check.
  • LineUp = My Focus Anchors:
Each morning (or evening), I drop my top 3 tasks into ClickUp’s LineUp feature so they’re right there on my Home screen. It keeps my focus clear—even when I’m switching between Zoom calls and snack refills, without added decision fatigue.
  • Give Yourself Permission to Pivot:
Life happens. Priorities shift. Adjust as needed. The power isn’t in getting it “perfect”—it’s in knowing what matters right now.

But that’s just one piece of the puzzle.

Here are a few other mindset shifts and simple swaps helping me make it through May with more peace than panic:

  1. Start with the logistics.
Consolidate everything in one place (yes, ClickUp counts!). Family calendar, work calendar, task list—get it all synced.
  2. Name your non-negotiables.
You can’t do it all, but you can do what matters most. Let the rest be good enough.
  3. Actually delegate.
Ask for help. Loop in your partner, your team, your kids (especially if the thought of delegation makes you itchy.)
  4. Pad your energy.
Give yourself breathing room between tasks and appointments. Leave space for the emotions, the transitions, the “I forgot my water bottle” drop-offs. Build in space—mentally and logistically.

Because productivity isn’t about doing everything.
It’s about doing the
right things, at the right time, in a way that works for your life.

So this week, start small.

Pick one tool—like ClickUp’s priority feature—and let it help you move through May with more intention and less “mom brain on overdrive.”

What I’m working on:
I’ve been keeping a little secret… and that’s because I’ve been working on something very special behind the scenes. I’ll can't wait to share more next week, and trust me, you won’t want to miss it, but let’s just say—our Maycember is about to get even more memorable 😍

Here’s to progress, not pressure.

Warmly,
Ria

Hey friend, Does September feel like a fresh notebook to you, too?Crisp, full of possibility… and maybe a little like a breath of fresh air when you’re not staring at a mountain of half-finished lists? Reader, if you’re feeling that mix of “let’s do this!” energy and “where do I even begin?” overwhelm, you’re so not alone. Between school and extra curricular drop-offs, client calls, and the never-ending snack requests (do your kids also seem like they have a bottomless snack stomach?), our...

Last Tuesday. 3:17am. You jolt awake in a cold sweat. Not because of a kid’s nightmare or one of those weird dreams where you show up to a meeting in your pajamas (though, let’s be honest, Zoom calls have made that less of a nightmare and more of a Tuesday). Nope. You shot up in bed because you suddenly remembered—you forgot to send that client questionnaire. Again. You know the one—the questionnaire that kicks off every new project, the one that should be automatic by now but somehow still...

Happy Friday! I hope you're having a great week so far, Reader! We’ve started the transition to our school-year schedule (goodbye carefree summer days 😭), and between the usual appointments, homeschool enrichment orientation, and a baby that insists on being held (how is she already three months old?! 🥹), I’ve been leaning on a few things that are making life feel easier.. Since I know you’re always on the lookout for simple wins and little pockets of ease and delight, I just have to tell you...
